This page will help you setup your computer and then install any of the PEAPPS Click Once programs. There are one or two primary prerequisite applications that are required to run these programs. Most computers will already have a version of one of these, the Microsoft .Net Framework, but updates may be needed. The second application is the SAP Crystal Reports Runtime Engine for the .Net Framework 4.0.

You can see if either of these two components are currently on your computer by going to; START, CONTROL PANEL, ADD or REMOVE PROGRAMS. When the list populates scroll down to Microsoft .Net Framework. There will probably be several you are looking for the one with a 4 at the end. Next, keep scrolling down and check for SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .Net Framework 4. If you do not have these programs then you will most likely want to install them individually.

At this time the CoBus program requires only the .Net Framework 4.0, while the DataSheets program requires both the .Net Framework and the SAP Crystal Reports Runtime Rngine.

To check each component individually, right click on the link below and use Save Target As to Download the self extracting ZIP file PEAPPS_ClickOnce.exe to your computer. Remember where you put it. Go to that folder location and double click on the file and it will extract four files to the same location. Double click on the file PEAPPS_ClickOnce.html and follow the instructions.

If you feel comfortable with installation processes, then the link below will start the complete install while checking for the prerequisites. It may still require a reboot but keep running the install until the program appears.

Each time you launch a program it will check to see if there is an available update. If there is an update you will be asked if you want to install the update and you should.

Some applications utilize the SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP 2 database requiring the installation of this app as a prerequisite. Download and then run the following file which will extract two files to a place of your choosing on your hard drive. For most machines you will only need to install the 32-bit version which is SSCERuntime_x86-ENU.msi. Just double click on the .msi file to start the install.

Note that if the application being installed will be on a 64-bit operating system, then you will have to install both versions of the SQL Server Compact Edition which are: SSCERuntime_x86-ENU.msi & SSCERuntime_x64-ENU.msi.

Remember that some virus protection programs will not allow files of the type .exe to run. You will need to turn that feature off while you run the initial install. After the installation turn the feature back on. Each time an application opens it will check the PEAPPS web site for updates to the program. Most virus protection programs do not interfere with this process.
